Stewards place an important role in ensuring fair play for all during competition and are in place to support riders, as well as look after the welfare of the horse. Becoming a steward is a fantastic opportunity to travel, meet like-minded people and – most importantly – be more involved in the sport we all love.

BD is running a series of level one BD National Dressage Steward course across the country. These one day courses will cover the basics that you require to steward at BD competitions up to Regional Championship level. Running from 10am until 4pm (approximately), the day will be filled with short classroom sessions, practical work and some theory.

The cost for the day is £25 for BD members, however all participants will also receive a £15 voucher towards their next BD membership (new or renewal). These workshops count towards your CPD, so are also beneficial to existing BD national stewards.
