Two riders and four horses have made the short trip across the channel to France this week for the Biarritz CDI3*, 23 – 26 October 2014.
Making their international debut together are Alex Hardwick and her mum, Sally Hardwick’s nine year old German gelding, Royal Chester. Representing Great Britain in the small tour, Royal Chester will be utilising Alex’s previous international experience to make their mark in France. At 23 years old, Alex will also be competing in the U25s with her mum’s 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding, Donauwein.
Experienced Kay Maxted makes her seventh international appearance this year with her faithful 17-year-old Gribaldi gelding, Privaldi. The duo will be competing at big tour along with her second ride of the competition, her own 13-year-old Danish gelding, Acapello Foldager.
