The final programme – featuring exclusive details of the five demonstration rider/horse combinations – has been released for this year’s British Dressage National Convention, in association with Harrison Clark Rickerbys, at Hartpury College (8 – 9 November 2014).
Host, FEI world number two and WEG team gold medallist, Helen Langehanenberg worked closely with us to build a timetable that caters for every kind of dressage enthusiast – from trainers and judges to riders and supporters.
Over the course of the weekend, Helen will be using five different horse and rider combination across all levels to illustrate her philosophies and training methods.
Trainer and international rider, Dan Greenwood appears on the Saturday riding this year’s Shearwater Supreme Young Horse champion, Jenny Welham’s five year old Dutch gelding, Exige M. Following Dan and appearing on both the Saturday and the Sunday is dressage darling Emile Faurie with Jessica Greelish’s seven year old Sir Donnerhall-sired mare, Cavalia. The pair have come into the spotlight after coming third in the Suregrow Advanced Medium Open at this year’s Nationals.
Representing Hong Kong up to international grand prix level, Jackie Siu and her own 11-year-old Sandro Hit mare, Ferrera, will be helping Helen to demonstrate her more advanced techniques along with Hayley Watson-Greaves and her own ten year old gelding, WG Rubins Nite, who have spent 2014 successfully establishing themselves at grand prix.
Finally, switching places with Dan Greenwood on the Sunday is Leah Beckett with 2014 Shearwater Young Horse finalist, Bruce Matthews four year old De Niro-sired stallion, Shamwari Debonair.
