Olympian Emma Hindle travelled the distance to Austria to represent Great Britain in the big tour at Stadl Paura CDI3* (15 – 21 Apr) alongside fellow Brit, Julia Coppard-Dornig, who was riding in the small tour.
Partnered with her own 15-year-old Belgian stallion, Chequille, the duo scored a strong mark of 65.90% in Saturday’s Grand Prix, placing them ninth and qualifying through to the Grand Prix Special the following day where they scored a solid 65.65% putting the pair twelfth on the leader board.
Austrian-based Julia Coppard-Dornig and her ride, Sisley Santino (pictured), a nine year old grey Sir Donnerhall gelding owned by Ruth Celand-Kerky competed in the small tour scoring an impressive 68.50% - just 2% from the leader – placing them in the top four. Moving on to the Inter I, Julia and the German gelding stepped up to the challenge, coming seventh with a sound score of 65.92%
