British Dressage is looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to join the BD Sport team and fulfill the role Fixtures Officer. This full time role joins the hard-working team based at our offices in Meriden, West Midlands.
Reporting to the Sport Operations Manager, you’ll play an integral role in coordinating the BD competition calendar to meet the needs of the increasing membership, interact with BD’s one hundred and eighty organisers and working alongside the publishers of BD magazine to deliver the schedules for all affiliated competitions.
The ability to communicate well is essential as is a proactive approach and real ‘can do’ attitude. The successful candidate would be expected to build strong relationships with organisers, volunteers and colleagues within the regional team and headquarters.
Although not essential, equestrian and/or specific dressage knowledge will be a distinct advantage.
Due to the nature of our sport a flexible approach to working, including some weekends and evenings is required.
