We are delighted to announce that over 4000 emails notifying members of their qualification to compete in a Petplan Area Festival are currently being sent out. This first batch will go out over the next 24 hours due to the volume.
This new process is the first transition in to notifying members of qualification electronically as opposed to sending letters via the post. We would therefore urge all members to make sure that they have an up to date email address recorded on our database to that you can be sure to receive your qualification notification in the future.
As members will be aware, a year ago we installed our new back office database in order to increase efficiency in membership services. This has not been without its challenges however we are now beginning to see benefits and we hope this this will be the first step to a more efficient service.
We are aware that not all members have email therefore there we have maintained the option for a member to submit the required number of test sheets together with their entry form to the venue as proof of qualification.
If think you should have had an email please check your that your email address is correct – if logged on, you can update it in the Membership section of the website or call the office. Also, check your junk folders as sometimes, as BD is a company, your email provider may send our mail there.
Between now and the last date for qualification, a weekly release of emails will go out as and when horses become qualified.
Prelim Non-Qualifiers
For combinations using prelim non-qualifying classes as part of or full qualification, you will need to submit your sheets to the venue with your entry as results for these classes are not currently recorded on the database therefore an email cannot be generated.
