British Dressage can now proudly announce the demo rider details for the 2017 National Convention, supported by Harrison Clark Rickerbys (25 – 26 November).

Spearheading the lineup is none other than this year’s LeMieux Grand Prix champion Lara Butler, who will be bringing her star partner Rubin Al Asad.

Joining Lara are ten of the hottest talents on the dressage circuit combining the best of British riding and British breeding. All of the combinations who will step out under the watchful eyes of Ulf Moller and Michael Klimke have had outstanding results throughout the season and are sure to impress the crowds heading to Hartpury later this month. With the two day schedule set under the headings ‘building the foundations’ and ‘putting it into action’ the demo riders and horses will give an interesting insight into the training and progression process from Novice through to Grand Prix.

Notably representing the young horse category is Amy Woodhead with World Young Horse Championship contender Mount St John Zonetta. With Amy in the saddle, the black mare by Zonik did a stellar job of representing Great Britain at the prestigious event held at Ermelo in August as well as producing some immense scores at Premier League shows and the National Championships this year.

Amongst the combinations representing the higher levels, Becky Edwards has also had a remarkable year. At only 21 years of age she’s recently experienced a sold out demonstration in Canada alongside her trainer Carl Hester. Plus enjoying several great International results in her first season competing Sarah Oppenheimer’s Headmore Delegate. Becky will without doubt bring all of her experience to the weekend and give a valuable insight to training towards Grand Prix.

The full line up of selected combinations is:
