This week, riders from across the UK are travelling to Buckinghamshire for three days of top flight competition at Addington Manor Premier League (12 – 14 May 2017).

The event is rammed with three full days of high class dressage, from Advanced Medium to Grand Prix, plus FEI Pony tests and the talent seeking Shearwater and Hickstead Young Horse qualifiers.

Tomorrow gets underway with two huge Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges classes and the Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I. The PSG start lists include Kate Smith and De La Veiga fresh from yesterday’s victory at Windsor, Michael Eilberg aboard new ride Daltrey and Daniel Greenwood with the exciting nine-year-old, Lukien von Tespe. Daniel features in the Inter I also, with the Lord Leatherdale gelding Chevalier-O (pictured), a horse who remains unbeaten at the level.

Small Tour action continues Saturday with a superhot field of competitors at Prix St Georges and Inter I. And then there’s the LeMieux Grand Prix featuring 26 combinations, including the Eilberg siblings, Emile Faurie with his De Noir gelding, Bohemo Tinto, plus the on form combination of Vicky Thompson-Winfield and PRE stallion, Mango Jacaro.

Sunday’s Equine Construction Advanced Medium, starting at 9.30, boasts a high calibre line-up, as does the Prix St Georges. Then, getting underway at 11.15, young horses go head-to-head in a bid to secure their place at the Shearwater semi-finals in July.

Entrance to the show is free at all times.
