The summer weather may be letting us down, but the dressage action is definitely heating up as action kicks off on Monday at Sheepgate Equestrian for their annual Premier League competition (20 – 21 July 2016).
Attracting top riders from across the country to the Lincolnshire venue, classes range from Young Horse to Grand Prix and include Pony, Junior and Young Rider tests across the two days. The likes of Steph Croxford (pictured), Becky and Hannah Moody, Darryl Thickitt, Dan Greenwood and Harry Payne are among those making the journey.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is renowned for its fantastic atmosphere and brilliant spectator perks. Their store, Sheepgate Tack and Togs, is notoriously tempting and stocks everything from essential equine items to designer dressage wear. A great day out for all, there’s also the on-site café, The Sheepgate Savoy, where you can grab lunch, snacks and delicious homemade cakes.
And the best part? It’s completely free for spectators!
