This year is the British Dressage Supporters Club’s pearl anniversary, so help them celebrate 30 years of supporting dressage at all levels!

In 1983 Jane Wykham-Musgrave formed the British Dressage Supporters’ Club (BDSC). Its aim: to support dressage and dressage riders, mainly at the grass roots levels. Sponsorship has included Talent Spotting, Judges’ Conventions, the Pony Club, the Paras and BYRDS as well as various senior international competitions. The club also publishes bi-annual newsletters.

Their distinctive rugs, rosettes and achievement certificates have been awarded to competitors. The annual Ball, held for more than 20 years in London, has been the mainstay of fundraising efforts. Members-only trips abroad to major dressage competitions have been a huge success, and hospitality marquees are available to members and guests at both Hickstead International Dressage Show and the Nationals at Stoneleigh. Dressage enthusiasts are invited to visit the marquees, where wine and nibbles are served at lunch time, join the club and celebrate thirty years of support for our sport.

They're looking to recruit new members and new committee members – mainly to assist with the hospitality marquees, recruitment and newsletters. Volunteers, who do not want to be on the committee, would also be welcome. Are you interested?

Contact Chairman –  Penny Smith or our Membership Secretary Jane Kendall, or Newsletter Editor - Gill Gallagher, or check out the website.
