The British Dressage Northern Region have secured a third sponsor for the area to join their existing duo, who have also announced their support for 2016. Regional Development Officer Sarah Huntridge has signed County Durham firm, G.B. Bodybuilders who manufacture horse boxes and sport homes at affordable prices. They join long term supporters Kate Jackson, the northern distributor for Sue Carson Saddles and York-based Horseplay, who have signed for their second year.

Family-run G.B Bodybuilders specialise in building you just what you’re looking for in your perfect horsebox, and at a budget you can afford. Managing Director Gary Bates sums their service up as; “Exactly what you need from your horsebox plus after-sales service that’s there when you need it. We also offer insurance work, box conversions and all types of repair work but bespoke to the customer’s specification is our speciality. We want customers to tell us exactly what the need and firmly believe on working together. With customer ideas coupled with our expertise and advice, we can offer an excellent service.” Gary prides himself on dealing personally with customers, there’s no sales team or third party involved.

Kate Jackson, based in Northumberland, and her Sue Carson Saddles are a familiar sight in the region for BD members now but she’s delighted to continue to support. She’ll be a camps this year checking members’ saddles and offering advice as well as demonstrating the wide range from Sue Carson; all of which are designed to provide superior fit, freedom of movement, comfort and support, for horses of all confirmations and riders of varying physiques.

Completing the regional trio of supports are Horseplay who specialise in building both new structures and providing solutions for existing equestrian buildings and riding arenas. They also have a unique range of stable mats which are designed to be easily manoeuvrable to help prevent back injuries and give greater flexibility.

Sarah commented; “It’s fantastic for the region to have the support of these three companies, all based in the area and all relevant for our members. Their input into the region is great for members – we all need advice, help and guidance from time to time after all. Plus, the financial boost helps the committee develop the region further to provide better training and more opportunities. Thanks to all of them and here’s to a fabulous 2016!”
