New to para-dressage and think you could be the next Natasha Baker or Lee Pearson? Our rider development day could be the perfect opportunity to get you on the road to becoming a competitive para-dressage rider. Specifically designed for the novice para rider and those new to para dressage, the session will be held at Solihull Riding Club, West Midlands on 29 – 30 August 2015.

But what happens during the day? Riders will perform the para dressage test in accordance to their grade. However, unlike normal dressage competitions, the riders will be marked on their trainability rather than the accuracy of their test riding.

After riding their test, riders will return to the arena in pairs for a 20-minute training and discussion session with two top para coaches, where they can discuss their personal training goals and how to action them.

Riders will also be required to complete a short written test, which will be completed prior to the session and submitted on the day.

With prizes ranging from PDTT training vouchers and a BDSC training grant to Saddlers Company head collars, plus a NAF goody bag for every rider; this is a must-not-miss event!
