We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person with excellent administrative and customer service skills to join us as a Training & Education Officer, working to develop and support training for judges and coaches. This will be a full time role based at our offices in Meriden, West Midlands.

Reporting to the Education & Development Manager, you will have an integral role in the delivery of our national training and examination pathway for both judges and coaches. You’ll also play an important part in the coordination of BD’s major national training events, such as the National Convention, National Judges Convention and a range of National Judge Training initiatives.

This is a busy and varied role where good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, along with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude. The successful candidate will work across several projects simultaneously, so the ability to multi-task while taking a diligent, structured approach is also fundamental.

You will be expected to build strong relationships with judges, coaches, volunteers and colleagues within BD. As such, specific knowledge of dressage and / or familiarity with the equestrian world would be a distinct advantage.

Due to the nature of our sport a flexible approach to working is required, including some attendance at events during weekends and evenings.

The salary for this role will be c. £18,000 to £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. Download a copy of the Job Description.

To apply, please send a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role and a copy of your CV by email to Jo Brown: jo.brown@britishdressage.co.uk

Closing date: 14 May 2015
Interview date: 3 June 2015
