This weekend, Bury Farm is set to host their annual high profile show, featuring a plethora of top class combinations (28 – 30 November). The Buckinghamshire-based venue will be providing the stage for classes ranging from medium to grand prix, whilst also featuring a collection of freestyle to music classes.
A great chance to get vital competition experience, the show will be the perfect opportunity to begin qualification for championships. Scores gained at 63% and above in PSG and inter I will count towards summer regional qualification, whilst scores at 65% and above in inter II and grand prix classes count towards wild card places for the 2015 LeMieux National Championships.
21 combinations have enter the grand prix on the Saturday evening with huge names such as Henriette Andersen, Steph Croxford, Alice Oppenheimer, Hayley Watson-Greaves and BD Training Director, Paul Hayler battling for the top title, you’re bound to enjoy an exciting evening.
This year’s National Convention stars, Emile Faurie and Cavalia (pictured), will also be strutting their stuff in their first ever PSG, whilst crowd favourite, Anna Ross-Davies claims the title for most classes entered as she prepares to ride three PSG tests, an inter I, an inter II and a grand prix.
Sunday paves the way for dancing horses in the freestyle to music classes and the under 25s take the reins as they compete in their relevant team tests. Pony squad stalwart, Phoebe Peters and SL Lucci will by vying for top trumps; however they’ll be facing stiff competition from fellow prime squad team members, Isobel Berrington and her rides, DHI Langar and DHI Quixote III. Charlotte Dicker and Sabatini look set to lead the way in the junior team test, whilst Jessica Gale and Umbro S will be following Saturday’s PSG test with the young rider team test.
