British impress at Zandhoven CDI3*

British riders Kay Maxted and Belinda Skipper impressed at the weekend’s CDI3*, held at Zandhoven in Belgium (11 – 14 September 2014).

Riding her own 17-year-old Gribaldi-sired gelding, Privaldi, Kay Maxted posted a solid 66.42% in Friday’s grand prix, placing seventh and opting for Sunday’s grand prix freestyle where the duo scored 65.55%.

In the same grand prix class, fellow Brit rider Belinda Skipper and her own 16-year-old Danish gelding, Capetto Vesteruang scored 63.64% to place 15^th. Unlike Kay and Privaldi, Belinda and her partner of 11 years elected to compete in the grand prix special where they improved on the previous day’s mark, scoring 64.84% to finish in seventh.
