The dressage element of the internationally renowned Aachen CHIO got underway yesterday with the CDI and Britain’s Michael Eilberg claimed fourth spot with Ferdi Eilberg’s Marakov on 71.60% with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl the victor with Unee BB on 73.22%.
The team competition (CDIO) started bright and early this morning with Nikki Crisp and Pasoa the first on for us. They scored 66.98% to get us off to a solid start. Dan Watson is second to go with Susie Farnon’s Fideramber at 10.39. Michael Eilberg is third with the Deverill’s Half Moon Delphi – the duo has the tricky task of following German superstars Matthias Alexander Rath and Totilas into the hallowed Aachen arena at 13.27. The final group of riders features some of the world’s best…Andelinde Cornelissen, Anna Kasprzak and Helen Langehaneberg but all eyes will be on Charltotte Dujardin with Roly Luard and Carl Hester’s Valegro as they make a welcome return back to competition at 15.21.
