Instalment three of British Dressage’s Premier League season kicks off tomorrow at Buckinghamshire’s Addington Manor EC.
The three day dressage festival features FEI classes from PSG to GP with youth squad team and individual tests. Plus, there are Shearwater International Dressage Horse qualifiers for four and five year olds as well as Hickstead Young Horse sections.
On Friday the action gets underway bright and early with the first of three Fairfax Saddles Prix st Georges sections and the day winds up with an exciting Top Spec Inter II which is a direct qualifier for September’s LeMieux National Championships.
Saturday the younger riders are in action with team tests at Pony, Junior and Young Rider level. There’s a further section at PSG and two Inter I sections jam-packed with top names before the LeMieux Grand Prix starts at 13.20. Zoe Sleigh, Becky Moody, Maria Eilberg, Anne Marie Perry and Alice Oppenheimer are on the start list as is Michael Eilberg and with his 2013 European team bronze medal partner Half Moon Delphi, owned by Jon and Julie Deverill.
On Sunday, it’s the individual tests for the youngsters while there’s a freestyle PSG in the indoor arena plus the Under 25 Grand Prix. Outdoors, there are two capacity Shearwater classes for Britain’s top young talent.
