Some of Great Britain’s top riders are venturing across Europe to Italy and the Netherlands for the Caselle di Sommacampagna CDI3* (4 – 6 Apr) and the Nieuw en Sint Joosland CDI3* (4 – 6 Apr).
Trekking over to Italy for the Caselle di Sommacampagne CDI is Kay Maxted and her own 17-year old Dutch partner, Privaldi. Last seen internationally at Roosendaal CDI where they placed 7th in the Grand Prix Special, the duo will be looking to make their mark in the big tour classes over the course of the three day competition.

Four British riders will make the journey to the Netherlands for the Nieuw en Sint Joosland CDI. 22-year old Alexandria Barr and her family’s 16-year old Jazz gelding, Romanoff II, will be doing it for the U25s, whereas Mary Pritchard and Nicola Lickley will be representing GBR in the small tour classes. Mary will be accompanied by her own 13-year old Dutch stallion, Unison R, whilst Nicola will be with her newest ride, her own 15-year old gelding, Zaire LH.
Fresh from Addington CDI and after achieving a personal best in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 72.95%, Daniel Watson and Susie Farnon’s 14-year old Dutch gelding, Fideramber, will be looking to continue their run of good form in the big tour classes. Daniel will also be accompanied by the ride he gained at the end of 2013, Nicola Naylor’s 9-year old gelding out of Sandro Hit, Amadeus VI.
