Five of Britain's top para dressage stars are heading over the Channel to compete at Deauville CPEDI3*.  It's the first International for our riders as they campaign for a place on the team to head back to France in August for the World Equestrian Games.

In the Ib competition, it will be the eagerly awaited first head to head of fierce rivals (but even greater friends) Lee Pearson and Ricky Balshaw with his new ride LJT Engaards Solitaire, or Sid to his friends.  British team stalwart Deb Criddle will compete in the Grade III and she's hoping for a return to the team after missing out at last year's European Championships.  European Gold medal hat-trick duo Sophie Wells (Grade IV) and Natahsa Baker (Grade II) will be looking for a continuation of their form with equine partners Valerius and Cabral.

The competition gets underway on Friday 4 April with the team tests, individual tests on Saturday and freestyle brings the show to a close on Sunday.
