The British Dressage Festival of Para Dressage takes place this weekend (15-16 March) at Vale View Equestrian Centre, Leicestershire. Riders from across the country will be coming together to compete in the British Dressage Restricted Para Championshiops and Para-Equestrian Rider Development, sponsored by The British Dressage Supporters Club (BDSC) and the Para Dressage Training Trust (PDTT) as well as open level FEI Para tests which include entries from World Class riders Lee Pearson, Ricky Balshaw, Natasha Baker, Emma Sheardown and Sophie Wells.
Previously called Talent Development, the event is specifically designed for the novice rider and those new to the sport of para-equestrian dressage, offering the perfect introduction to para dressage competitions with an emphasis on the rider’s training and development.
Judged by Jane McGarel Groves and coached by Tanya Larrigan and Sacha Hamilton, the riders will be performing a test before taking part in a training session. Prizes up for grabs include PDTT training vouchers, a BDSC training grant and Saddlers Company headcollars to name a few.
Entry to Vale View EC is free to spectators. To view a full list of the riders taking part, click here.
