It was a second week of great performances from Emile Faurie and is duo of rides in Vidauban CDI3*.
In the big tour, it was grand prix victory number two in a week for Emily and Julie Bradley’s Topolino in Thursday’s Grand Prix for Special with 68.36%. Emile commented on Facebook after the win:
"I am so happy we won the Grand Prix again today - still lots of room for improvement but he remained focused and even though a few mistakes still crept in I think there are more points to be had …. exciting times ahead! Thanks so much for all your messages."
The Swedish-bred gelding by Top Top then went on to finish seventh in Saturday’s GP Special with 99.647.
His small tour partner, Robbie Carpenter and Louise Hartnett’s Bohemo Tinto has clearly benefitted from his first big show. The ten year old De Noir gelding was fourth with 67.737% in Friday’s prix st georges. Emile then rode in Saturday’s Inter I, the horse’s first test at this level, to score 66.079% for sixth spot.
