At the recent Sport Operations Technical Committee meeting, decisions were taken on the venues to host the 2019 – 2021 Regional Championships for Winter and Summer. Tenders were received from 34 venues to host Regionals and the Committee considered their applications, which were required to meet pre-determined criteria along with RDO venue assessments, geographical location and date availability to ensure a suitable programme for members.
We’re delighted to announce the following venues were awarded Regional Championships for 2019 – 2021:

Di Harvey, Head of Sport Operations commented; “We applaud the venues who’ve hosted the last three-year regional cycle and thank them for their support, they’ve all done a great job so far, with the Summers to come soon. We have a limit of eight regionals for each season and there was an amazing response from organisers to the tender so it always makes a difficult process and geography really played a part this time. We hope those who missed out will apply again at the next round of tenders for 2022-2024.”
