The team at Myerscough College is making final preparations to kick off the 2017 Premier League season tomorrow, Wednesday 1 March. Running until Sunday 5 March, the event packs in five full days of dressage action from Medium to Grand Prix with additional classes for Pony riders and a Young Rider Grand Prix to boot. The show also opens the qualifying rounds for this year’s search for our Shearwater Insurance Young Horse Champions at four, five and six year old levels.

Our dressage stars have been working hard over the winter months to finally get out for the big occasion to put all that training to work in the arena just for you, and the judges, to enjoy. Maria Eilberg, Louise Bell, Becky Moody, Steph Croxford, Lucy Pincus, Pippa Hutton and Emma Hindle are some of the ladies heading to the Lancashire venue while Dan Greenwood, Paul Friday and Daryl Thickitt are among our gentleman entrants.

Saturday night is dancing time when the arena hosts a gala performance featuring freestyle classes at Prix St Georges, Inter I and Grand Prix level. It’s a ticket only affair and they’re priced at just £12 for adults and £10 for under 12s and OAPs. Call 01995 642115 to book yours now!

For the full programme on each day and start times, visit the event’s page on Horse Monkey.

If you’re not able to travel to Myerscough, fear not, the great team at Equestrian Pro are live streaming the classes for you to enjoy.
