Thanks to the Bechtolsheimer family, Dressage at Hickstead in collaboration with the FEI (International Equestrian Federation) is pleased to announce that it will host a CDIO3* 1-4 August 2013.
Along with the Royal International Showjumping, this now makes the show a CHIO; one of only three in the world.
The FEI have devised a new format for this competition, in that the Nations Cup Team event will take place during the Freestyle competition instead of the Grand Prix.
The changes will make for an even more exciting spectator experience in the Freestyle as well as opening up the Grand Prix class to competitors not riding as part of a team. The same show will also host International FEI Pony, Junior and young rider classes, as well as Prix St George and Intermediare classes.
