British Dressage is proud to welcome the Arab Horse Dressage Championships onto its competition calendar. Riders lucky enough to ride one of these horses, whether pure-bred or part-bred, will now have the opportunity to qualify for a prestigious championship at a date and venue to be confirmed - more details to follow soon.

The Arabian, whose history can be traced back to 3000 years BC, has had a huge influence on the breeding of competition horses today. It has influenced every light horse and many pony and warmblood breeds throughout history.

Well-known for their ability on the racetrack and for endurance, their talents don’t stop there! The refinement of these revered horses, combined with power, agility and grace also makes them elegant dressage horses and many part-breds have made it to the top in the Olympic disciplines.

What levels do they run at?

- Elementary

Who can compete?
- This is open to existing Full/ Quest members or anyone who has never competed BD before who has an Arab Horse.
