Carl Hester, the clear crowd favourite, took this afternoon's final title of the LeMieux National Dressage Championships, and the most prestigious, to become LeMieux National Champion 2016.
Carl won the Horse Health Grand Prix Freestyle Gold championship with a huge 79.78% on Coral Ingham's Wanadoo. Placed first by all the judges, Carl was the clear winner ahead of runner-up Charlotte Dujardin who has dominated at these championships. Charlotte scored 77.20% on her own, Anne Cohn and Carl Hester's Barolo. Taking third position was Hayley Watson-Greaves on her own WG Rubins Nite.
